Grace Land Antiques: For all your vintage home good needs

On a small stretch of Route 58 near MCAS Futenma is an array of antique and vintage shops. Each shop offers a little something different from home goods to trinkets and everywhere in between. One of these shops is called Grace Land and features various vintage goods for your home’s interior.

From the outside Grace Land doesn’t seem like much. There are a few chairs outside and the inside looks crowded, which it is. However, once you walk through the doors it’s like taking a step back in time. There are various furnishings, all American style, from the days of yesteryear. There are also little home accessories such as ashtrays, plates, trinkets and even thermoses which were filling some space on shelves.

The selection of antiques that are at Grace Land is amazing. There is something for everyone here making it a great place to pick up a unique gift for family or friends. One of the items that brought back some memories was a set of plates that I remember from my childhood. There were only a few odd pieces so I didn’t pick any up but they sure flooded my head with some great moments from my past.

All of the items in the shop are priced relatively well. Some of the items are even cheaper then some of the new items available at furniture stores today and are better quality (and more personality if you ask me). Now don’t get me wrong there are some items you’re not going to get a bargain on such as this Maytag in the photo above but considering it’s an American import and vintage it’s not that bad.

If you’re looking for a way to bring a little character to your home or just can’t get enough of those antiques then Grace Land is a place you may want to check out.
